What is accounting?

The Associate in Applied Science degree in Accounting prepares paraprofessionals for high demand employment opportunities including bookkeeping, office management, accounts receivable, and billing.

Why accounting?

Graduates from OSU-OKC’S Accounting AAS program have been placed in public accounting firms, private companies, nonprofit agencies and government offices.

Program outcomes

At OSU-OKC, our accounting program focuses on more than just coursework. Class sizes are relatively small and students have access to tutoring and a computer lab. Our accounting curriculum fosters the development of a broad range of skills through approximately 60 credit hours of accounting, computer applications and business-related courses.
