What is information technology?

The Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology degree offers a provides a general education background in computers and networking with emphasis on Microsoft. Graduates are prepared to become Microsoft certified.

Why information technology?

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says computer support specialists and systems administrators are projected to be among the fastest growing occupations over the next 10 years. Job prospects will be best for college graduates who are up to date with the latest skills and technologies, certification and practical experiences. OSU-Oklahoma City is one of the first universities in the Midwest to offer an associate degree in the fields of telecommunications and networking, which parallels Microsoft Certification.
