OSU-OKC participates in Department of Defense Tuition Assistance (TA) programs.

We serve as a liaison to the Department of Defense in processing TA and other military educational benefits.

Tuition Assistance programs may be offered through the various branches of the military. For more information on these programs, students should contact the Education Service Officer (ESO) of their unit. Eligible service members should receive approval from an ESO or counselor within the military service prior to enrolling.

Note on recruiting, marketing, and advertising: The University does not, and has never, conducted fraudulent or aggressive recruiting on or off military installations or in any other venue, nor do we misrepresent ourselves, our programs, or our mission. We do not pay incentive compensation to anyone for recruiting actions. We meet all state authorization requirements and perform yearly program auditing conducted by the Oklahoma State Accrediting Agency.

Return of Tuition Assistance Regulations

Return of Tuition Assistance: Military Tuition Assistance (TA) is awarded to a student under the assumption that the student will attend school for the entire period for which the assistance is awarded. When a student withdraws, the student may no longer be eligible for the full amount of TA funds originally awarded.

To comply with the new Department of Defense policy, Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City will return any unearned TA funds on a prorated basis through at least the 60% portion of the period for which the funds were provided. TA funds are earned proportionally during an enrollment period, with unearned funds returned based on when a student stops attending. These funds are returned to the military Service branch.

In instances when a Service member stops attending due to a military service obligation, the educational institution will work with the affected Service member to identify solutions.
